That new, new

Experimenting with different blog layouts...and i abbreviated my blog title. Out with the old?

First off I want to mention http://www.jewelryartdesigns.com/
I was gifted this ring and I can honestly say I have been wearing it every single day since it arrived in the mail. I love rings and I am overly picky when it comes to finding ones I can wear day in and day out so I was so glad to receive this one.  Simple, understated, and versatile.  Perfect for everyday wear.
Their real selling point in my mind however is that so much of the jewelry is really over-the-top in terms of colouring and design; there are a bunch of pieces I have seen on that site which would look really fun with simple outfits.  Examples include this bad boy and these .

I tweeted about this awhile ago but I haven't put my twitter back so I figured you should all take a look at a dose of crazy; Acne, these are stupid hot.

Giveaway!

Misikko.com has graciously sent me a complementary hair straightener to review on my site called the "Hana Professional".

I gave it a try yesterday with great results.  It worked on my (thick thick thick) hair no problem, didn't pull any strands out, and friends, its the PINK EDITION. So needless to say I have never felt more like Barbie in my life (in the best of ways).  It has multiple heat settings (and rest assured I used the highest) and heats up in no time.  I was told by friends that my hair looked great last night, which as we all know, is a total plus. By the way, it came with a rubber mat designed to leave straighteners on while they're hot.....incredibly useful! I was always balancing my irons in the past in strange ways but now I can just leave em on this mat. An answer to my prayers I tell you.
