Don't know if you guys saw Alexander Mcqueen's final collection, (and I don't mean of the house of alexander mcqueen since apparently that will continue, but of lee mcqueen) but it is just another sad reminder of what the fashion world has lost. I hope he's found peace.  If you haven't seen this wondrous collection yet, here's a link:  http://www.style.com/fashionshows/review/F2010RTW-AMCQUEEN

ps: pretty soon I'll show you guys a pic of that insanely awesome mk2k jacket i got awhile ago

pps: guys i am so not impressed at all with chanel lately. so repetitive (minus the clog resurgence) and odd. Am i alone on this one? I might very well be

xo,

Liya

  3. ahh those shoes are amazing - my faves are the gladiator type wedges perfect for summer! alexander mcqueen is a fashion god <3 will miss his work so much! Don't agree with your thoughts on chanel. I love them at the moment and though their ss10 collection was exceptional - one of the best this season and that it will be pioneering the key fashions this summer.

  10. I'm totally with you on chanel. The yeti creatures were not my thing and the rest is just minor variations on what Coco already designed. I think it's a shame really because Coco was all about designing new, different things to what was going on already.

  11. You are not alone on Chanel. I did not like the collection either, too furry for my taste. The shoes especially were nightmares.

  14. OH MY GOD YES ABOUT CHANEL. I never thought I'd find someone who agreed with me that they are just boring and repetive and a little bit stuffy. I did like the clogs, but other than that I think the same jacket has been in the past 10 shows. Those shoes are lovely, especially the first pair. Summer has been on my mind too

  19. Cool shoes!! I think the wedges might be a little too high for me though. I've always been impressed with Chanel and I can find something I like from all of their collections! xoxoxoxo

  21. Wow, that first pair is insane! I"m not a huge fan of clogs unfortunately. I blame it on time spent in Germany and the Netherlands where that look was reserved for country bumpkins only ;-)
